Wolf hybrid escapes from Indian River County exotic animal sanctuary

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A wolf hybrid, described as looking like a large Siberian husky, escaped from its enclosure Tuesday at Critter Haven, an exotic animal sanctuary in southern Indian River County.

The black and gray canine named Jax has been missing since then, according to Joey Borneman, Critter Haven's general manager.
