INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Fla. — Indian River County deputies say a vandal targeted a school and left a mess of food and damage behind.

According to the sheriff's office, a worker arrived at Indian River Academy, located at 500 20th St. SW, on June 19 around 7:40 a.m. and found the school had been vandalized.

Someone had taken pickles out of a jar in the front office and threw them against computer screens. The vandal also put pickle on two chairs in the front office.

From there, the criminal smashed coffee creamers on the floor of the teachers' lounge, and put around 20 creamers in the microwave and more creamers on the copier machines.

The vandal also broke two ukuleles in the music room, damaged a tribal drum, then dumped a bucket of water over near some computers.

Deputies said there were no signs of forced entry, and the total cost of the damage is $200.

If you know who the vandal is, call Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-8477.
