UPDATE: The Indian River County Sheriff's Office said Gilbert Peirce has been found safe.
EARLIER: Deputies in Indian River County are searching for a missing man who has Alzheimer's.
Gilbert Peirce was last seen at 1 p.m. Wednesday riding a dark blue or green Fuji racing bike northbound on Highway A1A, near River Club.
He was wearing a white t-shirt, black bike shorts, and a blue helmet.
