The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal early-morning crash in Indian River County.
The fiery wreck happened along westbound State Road 60 at 74th Avenue at about 5 a.m. Monday. No other vehicles were involved.
Chopper 5 flew over the scene just before 7 a.m. where there was still an active scene. Multiple palm trees were knocked down and the ground was burnt near the crash.
The victim’s name has not been released.
