Two men accused of selling drugs from an Indian River County grocery store are under arrest, according to the sheriff's office.
Detectives made the arrests after raiding the Crosstown Grocery Store in Gifford following a monthlong investigation.
Investigators say they found flakka, cocaine, marijuana, dozens of pills, nearly $1,000 in cash and a loaded Smith and Wesson handgun.
Christopher Miles, 38, and Andrew Jones, 33, both of Gifford, face several charges.
"These drug dealers chose to operate out of a local grocery store thinking that would protect them from justice. Last week we ended their operation and put them behind bars where they belong. We will not tolerate flakka and so many other dangerous drugs being sold in our community. I commend our detectives who worked so hard to close down this clandestine drug store," Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar said in a news release.
Bond for Miles was set at $81,000. Jones is being held on $55,000.00 bond.
