NewsChannel 5 anchor Ashleigh Walters will be one of 23 artists to share her artwork at the Palm Beach International Airport as part of the county's Art at the Airport exhibition.

Dec. 10, 2015 the work will be installed at PBIA and remain hanging until April 6, 2016 on the second floor of PBIA, across from the Traveler's Lounge near Sam Snead's restaurant.

More than 100 entries were received from artists living around Palm Beach County.  Pieces to be featured were selected by guest judge Ellen E. Roberts, Curator of the Harold and Anne Berkley Smith of American Art at the Norton Museum of Art.

Walters has a degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting from the University of Colorado at Boulder, in addition to her degree in journalism.  Her painting is 36" x 36" in acrylic.  It features grocery store shelves packed in cake decorating supplies.  Walters titled it "Hey, Sugar!"

You can meet all of the artists at a special event March 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at a location yet to be determined.
