Palm Beach Zoo spokesperson Naki Carter read a statement today from Stacey Konwiser's husband Jeremy.

"Stacey would want me to ask everyone to stand with the Palm Beach Zoo," says Carter.

Stacey lost her life in a deadly tiger attack last Friday. Nearly a week later, zoo officials are not releasing the name of the responsible tiger.

Carter says the zoo has a Q&A website that answers questions about discussing the decision to tranquilize the tiger.

A memorial fund has also been set up to honor Stacey. A May 14th 5K race will support conservation work in honor of Stacey.

The press conference comes after threats have been made to the Malayan Tiger involved in the incident.

"This is an ongoing investigation. I've received a lot of requests about the Malayan Tiger that received the threat. Safety remains the top priority for Palm Beach Zoo. Our family remains a top priority moving forward in Stacey's honor remains a top priority and protecting the integrity of the investigation remains a top priority," says Carter.
