WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Police in West Palm Beach are looking for a delivery van stolen from a homeless outreach group. They say the woman who took the truck received a free breakfast moments before taking the car.
It is a white commercial van with "Cafe Joshua" written on both sides.
The Lord's Place and Cafe Joshua provide free meals to the homeless as well as cater private events.
Employees were loading the van at 2808 Australian Ave at about 7:30 this morning to deliver breakfast for 100 people at a retreat.
A woman walked up to the building asking for help. Food services director Robert Coleman gave the woman a breakfast and continued loading the van.
He left the van running to keep the air conditioning on.
As he went inside to grab more supplies, surveillance footage shows the woman get in the van and drive north on Australian Avenue.
If you see the van, call police.
