Are you interested in a law enforcement career? West Palm Beach police want you.
The department currently has four openings for police officers. You must be certified or in the academy.
Over the next few years 50 people in the department will be retiring and more jobs will be available.
One West Palm Beach Police sergeant calls it one of the best jobs in Palm Beach County.
"If you want to be a policeman this is the place to be. I don't think there is anywhere else you can get the experience in Palm Beach County like you can in West Palm,” said West Palm Beach Police Dept. Sgt. Joseph Herb.
If you would like to apply for one of the current openings you need to do it before Friday.
Sgt. Herb says the other openings will become available as the officers retire over the next two years.
