A bracket-style contest is matching up cities from across the U.S. to promote strong communities.

West Palm Beach faces Holland, Michigan in a quest to be named America's strongest town.

West Palm Beach beat out Safety Harbor, Fla. in the first round to advance in the tournament. West Palm Beach is the only Florida city still left in the challenge.

The mission of strong towns is to “support a model of development that allows America's cities, towns and neighborhoods to become financially strong and resilient.”
