Wawa spokeswoman Jennifer Wolf said the person with COVID-19 worked at the store on Thursday.

Wolf said the store was closed so the building could be "professionally deep cleaned and disinfected."

Wawa said they are working with the local Department of Health to notify any workers who may have had close contact with the person who has the virus.

Wolf said Friday the store has reopened.
