Sixteen people were rushed to local hospitals following a two-vehicle crash in West Palm Beach early Sunday morning.
The accident happened shortly after 1 a.m. at Okeechobee Blvd. near Congress Ave.
Officials say the accident involved a 14-passenger van and a pickup truck.
The van driver and 13 passengers, along with the truck driver and a passenger, were injured in the accident.
Eight patients were transported transported to St. Mary's Medical Center, six of them as a Trauma Alert.
Five other patients were transported to West Palm Hospital and three were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.
All patients were later reported to be in stable condition or released from the hospitals.
Alcohol may have been a factor in the accident, authorities say.
