WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A train struck a car on the tracks near Banyan Boulevard and Tamarind Avenue on Saturday, causing delays to rail service and nearby road traffic.
The car remains on the tracks, and recovery crews are working to remove the vehicle and inspect the rail for damage.
Motorists should expect backups on surrounding streets and are advised to avoid the area if possible.
