WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Police are investigating a threat at Roosevelt Middle School in West Palm Beach.
According to the Palm Beach County School District, a written threat was discovered on a bathroom wall on campus Thursday.
School district police launched an investigation to determine who made the threat.
Police said the threat does not appear to be credible, but just out of caution, additional police were on campus Friday.
The school district sent this alert to parents:
"The District takes all threats very seriously. The person responsible for making this threat could face criminal charges as well as discipline under the Student Code of Conduct."
