Thousands are without power in Palm Beach County Saturday afternoon, according to Florida Power & Light.
Officials say Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties residents were also affected by the outage.
Florida Power & Light has dispatched a power restoration specialist to investigate and restore power.
All the outages are due to the wind, said a Florida Power & Light spokesperson.
