UPDATE: The lockdown was lifted just after 11:15 a.m. after police said the package appeared to be safe. Stores at the Palm Beach Outlets have resumed normal business.

West Palm Beach police are investigating a suspicious package at the Palm Beach Outlets.
Fire engines and the bomb squad have been called to the scene.
Police have established a perimeter around the entrance near the fountain. That's where the suspicious package is.
The area is on lockdown while the investigation continues.
