PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The School District of Palm Beach County announced Wednesday a change to its calendar to accommodate the Presidential Preference Primary.
The change was approved by the school board to ensure student safety since schools serve as polling sites.
There will be no school for students on March 17, 2020.
The third quarter will end on March 16. March 17 is a duty/PDD day for teachers and staff, says the school district.
Students will return from Spring Break on Monday, March 30, rather than Tuesday, march 31.
