West Palm Beach police said a man was injured in a shooting Wednesday morning near Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Interstate 95.
Officers, along with West Palm Beach Fire Rescue, responded to the 700 block of Malibu Way Drive Wednesday just after 8:30 a.m.
They found a man with non-life threatening injuries.
He was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment.
A witness said that he saw a person running and jumping over a canal toward a nearby Best Western after hearing 4 gunshots.
Police later said they were looking for three men.
