Well-known philanthropist Barbara Kay has passed away.
She was known for her leadership roles with the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. She also helped create a foundation that supports programs that help children and families in Israel.
For more than three decades Kay interviewed many national and international leaders as host of the television program "Mosaic." The Jewish Federation’s weekly news magazine show airs on WPTV every Sunday.
Her funeral will take place on Sunday, May 12 at 10 a.m. at Temple Emanu-El of Palm Beach. Donations can be made in her memory to Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County or the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee in New York.
