Person struck by vehicle in suburban West Palm Beach

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a person being struck by a vehicle near Sherwood Forest Blvd and Purdy Lane Tuesday afternoon.

The accident involved three vehicles and at least one pedestrian, according to Fire Rescue.

A male patient was taken by helicopter to a local hospital.

Two other people were taken by rescue truck to a local hospital.

One of the patients was a teenager, officials said.
