WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A person is recovering after being stabbed early Saturday on Clematis Street.
West Palm Beach police responded to the 300 block of Clematis Street at approximately 1:20 a.m. in reference to the attack.
According to police, the suspect, 27-year-old Kristian Diaz, got into a verbal argument with the victim.
During the altercation Diaz stabbed the victim once and fled the area.
Officers searched the area and Diaz was located and taken into custody without incident. The knife used in the attack was recovered.
The victim sustained a non life-threatening stab wound.
Diaz was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.
