SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in suburban West Palm Beach Friday evening, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The incident happened at 9:48 p.m. near the intersection of Okeechobee Blvd. and Meridian Rd.
Firefighters reported a patient lying in the road. The patient was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene has been turned over to law enforcement.
