WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A pedestrian was shot in West Palm Beach Tuesday evening, according to the West Palm Beach Police Department.
The shooting happened at 5 p.m. along the 1000 block of 22nd Street.
The victim, who was speaking to first responders at the scene, was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Police say it appears to be a targeted attack, according to preliminary findings.
Investigators are on the scene gathering evidence and looking for witnesses.
