A Florida grandmother, with some help from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, is helping children in Puerto Rico one stich at a time.
Martha Heft has been sewing for 95 years.
When Hurricane Maria hit the island, she sewed dresses and quilts for orphanages in Puerto Rico.
This week, officers helped deliver those very special gifts.
The orphanage says it is a blessing.
Officers awarded Martha a Certificate of Appreciation for making a difference in children's lives.
