The Palm Beach State College campus in Lake Worth has canceled classes Saturday, due to a power outage.
Lake Worth Utilities says the power was out for about an hour and a half and that it was restored just after 2:30 p.m.
Strong winds blew trees into power lines and knocked them down.
Everyone on campus was asked to evacuate.
Nathalia Reyes says she was in class when the lights started to flicker.
"I had no idea what was going on," said Reyes. "The power did go [out] for like three seconds but then it came back, so we didn't know what was going on in our class."
