PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — Palm Beach Lakes High School Principal David Alfonso was named the county's 'Principal of the Year.'
Alfonso accepted his award during a celebration at FPL's Manatee Lagoon in West Palm Beach.
The school district credited the principal with the school's complete transformation in morale, culture and academics.
The three other finalists are the principals at Orchard View, Pine Jog and Grove elementary schools.
