The West Palm Beach Police Department said numerous vehicle burglaries occurred overnight at multiple hotel parking lots throughout the city.
Police said they discovered the break-ins at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officers are investigating at the following hotel locations:
- Holiday Inn Express located at 2485 Metrocentre Blvd.
- Double Tree located at 1808 S. Australian Ave.
- Courtyard by Marriott located at 1800 Center Park Dr. E
- Holiday Inn located at 1301 Belvedere Rd.
According to a written statement from West Palm Beach police, investigators are gathering evidence, reviewing video surveillance footage, obtaining detailed information about the items stolen and speaking with witnesses and victims.
Sgt. David Lefont said the majority of vehicles targeted by thieves were trucks and SUVs but did not estimate the number of vehicles.
