A 20-year-old woman, who is accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend to death, is in the Palm Beach County Jail.
Melanie Eam was brought back to the county from Maryland Tuesday night.
At her court appearance Wednesday a judge denied bond for Eam.
A new arrest report says she admitted to deputies that she stabbed James Barry at his home when he broke up with her and then she took off to Maryland.
Barry's father says there are no words to describe the pain of losing a child. "It was a horrific crime, and now we are going forward toward the justice part of the equation and I'm glad that Melanie is in jail without bond at this stage in the game so we can move forward."
Eam was initially fighting her extradition but deputies brought her back last night.
She is not allowed to have any contact with Barry's family.
