WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Volunteers wore aprons, gloves, and hair nets on Saturday as they helped create meals for the Palm Beach County Food Bank.
Muslim, Christian, and Jewish women volunteered together after starting a women's interfaith group after meeting at the event last year.
Music and cheers took over the gymnasium at Gaines Park as people took time away from St. Patrick's Day celebrations to help families in need.
All the meals packed will stay within Palm Beach County.
Staff at the event say they surpassed their 100,000 meal goal.
