The West Palm Beach Police Department is investigating an armed robbery and shooting that occurred outside a nightclub early Wednesday morning.
At 3:52 a.m., Sgt. David Lefont said the victim was asked to leave Club Rain Nightclub on Old Okeechobee Road.
At the intersection of Okeechobee Road and Wilkens Avenue, four to five people robbed him at gunpoint.
During the robbery, they also fired a handgun, striking the victim once and causing a minor injury. The man was taken to the hospital and treated.
