A man was sent to the hospital after being injured by a car early Monday morning in West Palm Beach.
The incident occurred near 11th Street and Sapodilla Avenue.
West Palm Beach police spokeswoman Lori Colombino said a man was talking to someone in a car when the vehicle took off.
The man was hurt after he tried to hold onto the car and fell.
The victim is in the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to Colombino.
