Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man Wednesday morning on the north side of West Palm Beach.
The shooting happened just after 7:30 a.m. along the 700 block of Douglass Avenue near 6th Street.
Police identified the victim as 20-year-old Javonte Roker.
He suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center.
Police say the shooting was the result of an earlier disturbance between acquaintances.
Investigators say neither the victim nor witnesses are cooperating with detectives.
