5 fun things to do this weekend

 It's March in south Florida, the weather's nice… and there are lots of things to do this weekend outside!

St Patrick's Day is not until Thursday but all the festivities are early this year.

Irish Fest on Flagler starts Saturday at the Myer Amphitheater in downtown West Palm Beach.

Noel Kingston, Master of Ceremonies of Irish-fest says, "One of the main things about coming to this festival is, yes to be entertained…but it's also it's a great exhibition of Irish culture, Irish art, and Irish fun."

Irish Fest on Flagler starts at noon Saturday and Sunday and cost $5.

Down in Delray Beach, The bigSt. Patrick's Day parade and festival opens at 11am with the parade running from 2-4pm.

This year, a huge group of World War II veterans will lead the parade, so come out, salute them and thank them for their service.

There will also be plenty of other fun family friendly things to do.

If you're not ready to celebrate St. Patty's day quite yet, and you love art…. Art Fest by the Seais going on this weekend in Juno Beach.

There will be more than 300 exhibitors displaying a wide range of works from hand carved spoons, to life-size sculptures, to paintings and photography plus a whole lot more!

Debbie Alan, Art Fest show director says, "Artwork ranges from 5 dollars to 30-thousand, it's free admission at the beautiful location in Juno beach along A1A in front of Loggerhead Marinelife Center." Art Fest runs 10-5 Saturday and Sunday.

Maybe you  love animals?  The Annual Peggy Adams Walk for the Animals will be this weekend at downtown at the Gardens.

Rich Anderson, Executive Director/CEO, Peggy Adams says, "Starting at 9am we want everyone to bring their dogs out for this fabulous walk, we're going to have pet contests, entertainment, music…it's just going to be a great day for the animals.

The event is Saturday from 9-noon and is one of Peggy Adams biggest local community events.

Wait, that's only 4 things!

If you're up on the Treasure Coast, enjoy the Stuart Green Market from 9a-11a Sunday morning in the parking lot of the Stuart City Hall. Then there will be free live musical entertainment on the Rock'n Riverwalk stage in downtown Stuart between 1pm and 4pm.
