WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — When she left Florida for Wimbledon, Coco Gauff was a little known tennis player. She’s back, a 15-year-old household name.
“It’s been like I said a rollercoaster I mean right now I’m going up, I don’t know when I’m going to come back down and finally get back to normal it’s been really a great, great ride for me,” she said at Palm Beach International shortly after she landed.
The tennis superstar, flanked by her parents who joined her in Wimbledon, can finally exhale.
“My mom was going crazy especially my dad definitely more calm than her, but it was cool to see how much support they had for me,” she said.
Her favorite moment was when she played one of her idols.

Definitely playing Venus(Williams) was my favorite moment you dream of it so many times but then actually doing it I still done believe it.
As she looked up to Venus and Serena Williams, she is now someone kids look up to.
"Honestly, I still think it’s crazy, I’ve gotten so many messages saying that have been looking up to me and I guess it’s a big responsibility but again, I feel honored I inspired somebody,” she said.
It’s time to rest and catch up with the family who stayed back home watching at the family restaurant in Delray Beach, and train.
She says she has one more tournament to play in before she plans on competing at the US Open.
