UPDATE: The PBSO Bomb and Arson Squad safely removed the unattended luggage and PBIA is back to full operation. However, travelers and visitors picking up passengers could experience delays due to traffic tie-ups in the area.

The level one baggage claim area at Palm Beach International Airport has been evacuated after a piece of unattended luggage was found.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office dispatched its Bomb and Arson unit to investigate.

The luggage was located on the first floor near one of the carousals not near the taxi area.

All entrances are blocked to the airport.
