A West Palm Beach family received the best Christmas present Saturday. The Fultons moved in to their new home thanks to Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County.

The new house means all three Fulton children will have their room, instead of sharing one.

Whitney Fulton, the new homeowner, helped build the house from the ground up while working full time and going to school.

“I’ve actually put in my time, my effort. I’ve been on the roof, all sorts of things. So it definitely makes me more appreciative,” she said.

More than 100 volunteers helped build the house.

Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County is currently focused on revitalizing the northwest side of West Palm Beach.
