John Goodman juror Dennis DeMartin was sentenced Friday to 37 days in jail after he was found guilty of contempt of court charges.

However, DeMartin was given credit for the 37 days he had previously spent in jail and was allowed to leave court without receiving any additional jail time.

During Goodman's trial in 2012, DeMartin lied about his ex-wife’s DUI arrest, forcing Goodman's case to be tried again.

In 2014, Goodman was ultimately found guilty of DUI manslaughter in the 2010 crash that killed 23-year-old Scott Wilson.

Wilson drowned when Goodman’s Bentley struck Wilson’s Hyundai Sonata, sending it into a canal.

Goodman is serving a 16-year prison sentence.
