WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — There is a heavy law enforcement presence Friday morning near Summit Boulevard and Parker Avenue in West Palm Beach after a car was stolen and later crashed into a sport-utility vehicle.
Around 6 a.m., the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said someone stole a Toyota Corolla and crashed it into a Dodge Durango.
The people who stole the vehicle then fled the scene and have not been found yet. The driver of the other Durango suffered minor injuries.
Crews are now cleaning up the scene. As of 7:46 a.m., Summit Boulevard is still closed but Parker Avenue is back open.
Drivers and pedestrians should use caution in the area as there is a little bit of debris still being cleaned up.
