The man who Thursday morning opened fire in the lobby of Fifth Third Center in Cincinnati, killing three people and injuring two others had ties to South Florida.
Omar Santa-Perez lived in Lake Worth back in 2012 and had a record of low-level offenses.
Court documents show in March 2012, Perez was arrested and charged with marijuana possession in Palm Beach County and again in July 2012.
In 2010, the 29-year-old was arrested by Coconut Creek Police and charged with disorderly conduct.
It's unclear how long Perez lived in South Florida before moving.
