A gas leak caused evacuations for a time in downtown West Palm Beach.
The leak was located in an alley off of Olive Avenue north of Datura Street.
According to a West Palm Beach Fire Rescue Battalion Chief on scene, a construction crew hit a gas line.
Employees were evacuated from surrounding buildings until the line was temporarily clamped.
