WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Drivers can get a free pick me up on Florida's Turnpike at select times this holiday season.
Florida's Turnpike Enterprise and the state's Department of Transportation have established free coffee breaks for drivers during heavy travel times to promote safety.

Below are the list of Shell convenience stores/lobby locations and times offering the free coffee:
- Turkey Lake in Orange County
- Canoe Creek in Osceola County
- Fort Drum in Okeechobee County
- Fort Pierce in St. Lucie County
- West Palm Beach in Palm Beach County
Times:
- 11 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25
- 11 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26
- 11 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1
- 11 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1 to 6 a.m. Thursday. Jan. 2
FDOT says the normal morning and afternoon rush-hour periods 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. may be congested with holiday travelers and local commuters on their way to work. They encourage motorists to schedule their travel around these peak hours.
