Forster care students in Palm Beach and Broward counties got a boost of $500 thousand Thursday.

The money was donated by AT&T to ChildNetand its Best Foot Forwardprogram, which provides tutoring, counseling and graduation coaching for students in foster care.

"I've been in and out since eight grade year and I wasn't on the right track yet, but I've found where I need to be and I'm back in Best Foot Forward. I'm excelling, I'm going to graduate this year," said Ari Morales, a senior at Forest Hill High School.

The money will be used to work with 50 students for two years, to increase their likelihood off getting their diploma.
