St. Lucie County firefighters battling a brush fire off of Indrio Road near Tree Top Trail Friday.
Three brush trucks, a tanker and engine were being used to fight the flames, according to St. Lucie County fire spokesperson Catherine Chaney. Bulldozers were also being used as well.
The fire grew from 4 acres to 120 acres.
The sheriff's office has a crew in the air directing trucks through the rough terrain. The Florida Forest Service also dispatched a helicopter to make aerial water drops using canal water.
The fire's forward movement has stopped and the fire is contained.
No structures are threatened.
