WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Police say an explosive device was discharged outside of an apartment at Lake Shore Apartments, 4650 N. Congress Avenue in West Palm Beach on Saturday evening.
No one was injured and no one was displaced from their home.
Police do not believe it was a prank or random attack, but "clearly an attempt to injure someone" inside the apartment with a targeted attack.
Investigators collected evidence to help determine the identity of the suspect who detonated the explosive.
The West Palm Beach Police Department Bomb Team was called in to assist.
