The driver who died in a crash early Friday morning has been identified.
Eric Dryer, 30, was driving a 2017 Jeep Wrangler north on Haverhill Road, approaching Belvedere Road near West Palm Beach at 12:30 a.m.
As he approached the intersection, Jon French Jr., 21, was driving a Chevy Venture south on Haverhill and turned into the path of Dryer's car, causing it to roll over.
Dryer, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the Jeep. He was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A PBSO incident report says that French had alcohol or drugs in his system at the time of the crash.
Charges against French are pending.
