WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Granite Telecommunications in West Palm Beach challenged its employees to shave their heads to help find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
For every employee, friend or family member who participates, the company will donate $5,000 to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Barbers from New Era Barbershop in Boca Raton donated their time to help make it happen.
This is the 5th year the company is doing the fundraiser.
About 100 people locally and 1,000 company wide are expected to participate.
John Sullivan with Granite Telecommunications says, "just to know that everybody takes the time out and gets their head saved for, like I said, a good cause, you just can't beat it."
