Clinics Can Help founder Owen O'Neill is helping a client with a bag of gloves, wipes and other medical supplies.

The organization distributes these items and gently used medical equipment year round for children and adults in need.

"We give these out every day. We hand out about 6,000 packages a year. And that need doesn't go away because of this pandemic that is going on," she said.

But with the coronavirus pandemic, the need has gone up.

"Rubbing alcohol, even peroxide, gloves, face masks, just ways that they can stay clean and protected. Over 35% of our clients are in the elderly community here in Palm Beach County. We also provide nebulizers... we are seeing an increase in the request," she says.

Also in demand are beds, walkers and wheelchairs.

People like 93-year-old Herbert Yates are thankful for the organization.

O'Neill says the organization will continue to help the community, "The need for medical equipment and supplies does not go down during a time like this. Just know that we are here for you we are not going away. We are an essential need in the county, we are not going away."
