WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Many people know someone whose life has been impacted by cancer.
Thursday a special event in West Palm Beach was about all beating cancer and celebrating life.
Cancer survivors and oncology staff gathered for a luncheon at Good Samaritan Medical Center. The event was for anyone who has been touched by cancer.
Some survivors shared their stories.
"We know that cancer impacts so many individuals and we want to be part of that ability to support them, educate them and be able to know that we are resource out there for them," said Joe Lopez-Cepero with Good Samaritan Medical Center.
You can still help celebrate survivors. Sunday marks the official "National Cancer Survivors Day."
