UPDATE: West Palm Beach police say that Gregory L. Dickerson has been arrested and charged with the shooting death of Melissa Mitchell.
According to a probable cause affidavit, 3 witnesses saw Dickerson drive up to the 1300 block of 8th Street on December 8, get out of his vehicle, and shoot Mitchell.
A man who witnessed the shooting then shot at Dickerson who drove off and later hit a tree in Gaines Park.
Dickerson was hospitalized and remains in critical condition.
He faces a charge of first degree murder.
Neighbors say Mitchell had a child in elementary school--- and just finished a job interview before she was shot.
Mitchell and Dickerson were previously involved in a domestic dispute, according to the affidavit.
Police say this was a domestic-related homicide.
