The CEO of Wellington Equestrian Partners announced Thursday an agreement to acquire Wellington’s International Polo Club.
The club is being sold by a trust affiliated with the imprisoned John Goodman, the former polo mogul convicted in a 2012 fatal DUI crash.
Goodman bought the International Polo Club in 2002.
The private trust was made for Goodman's children and was being run by his ex-wife.
Goodman was sentenced to 16 years in prison for the DUI manslaughter death of Scott Patrick Wilson.
